RE: GRANT REQUEST OF WELD DISTRICT BOY SCOUTS FOR USE OF LIVE-
STOCK BUILDING AND EXHIBITION BUILDING AND WAIVER OF FEES
FOR THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Weld District Boy Scouts have requested the use
of the following buildings during their Cub Scout Day Camp:
June 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 , Livestock Building
13 , and 19 , 1979
June 11 , 12 and 13 , Exhibition Building
1979 from 8 :00 a.m.
to 5 :00 p.m.
WHEREAS , the abovementioned buildings shall be used only
in case of inclimate weather, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant
said request and further to waive the rental fees for use of
said buildings .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the Weld
District Boy Scouts for use of the abovementioned buildings be,
and hereby is , granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the rental fees
for use of said buildings is hereby waived.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
April, A.D. , 1979 .

Dear Commissioners:
I am requesting, on behalf of the cos Scouts of :;geld District,
free use of the 4-H Livestock Building on June 9, 10, 11 , 12 & 13, 1979.
This will be used in case of inclimate weather during Cub scout Da.
;-chedulec at Island Geove Park on the aforementioned dates . It
has been brought to my attention that the exhibition building will be
in use on June 9 & 10. We request the use of that building on June
11 , 12 & 13th for the same purpose. Between 8:00a.m. and 5 :00 p.m.
Again I stress these buildins will only be used in case of bad
weather.

The Longs Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America have expressed
a desire to use the Exhibition Building at Island Grove Park on June
11, 12, and 13th, from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The buildings will
be open and available for their use at that time.
