RE: ACCEPTANCE OF FILING OF AMENDED SERVICE PLAN, REFERRAL TO WELD
COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION FOR STUDY AND RECOMMENDATION,AND SET
HEARING DATE FOR CONSIDERATION - ST. VRAIN SANITATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Amended Service Plan for the St.Vrain Sanitation District was received by
the Clerk to the Board on November 23, 2010, for filing with, and consideration by, the Board of
County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, Section 32-1-204(2), C.R.S., requires that the Amended Service Plan be
delivered to the Weld County Planning Commission for study and recommendation to the Board of
County Commissioners, such recommendation to be received by the Board within thirty (30) days
after the filing of the Amended Service Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to accept the filing of
the Amended Service Plan as of November 23, 2010, and to refer it to the Weld County Planning
Commission for a hearing to be held on January 18, 2011, with study and recommendation to be
received by the Board from Planning Commission on or before January 26, 2011, pursuant to the
proposed schedule approved by the applicant, which schedule waives the thirty (30) day
requirement, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to set a public hearing
date for its consideration of said Amended Service Plan, said hearing date to be February 2, 2011,
at 9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the filing of said Amended Service Plan be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Amended Service Plan be, and hereby is, referred to
the Weld County Planning Commission for study and recommendation back to the Board of County
Commissioners, such recommendation to be received by the Board on or before January 26, 2011.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the public hearing for consideration of the Amended Service Plan for the St. Vrain
Sanitation District be, and hereby is, February 2, 2011, at 9:00 a.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the organizers of
the proposed Amended Sanitation District have paid the required statutory filing fee of$500.00 to
the Clerk to the Board.

Please find attached the Service Plan Amendment for St. Vrain Sanitation District serving
southwest Weld County. We are in the midst of long term planning for our current and
future residents and will soon embark on the building of a 6 million gallon per day (mgd)
plant at our current site located off of Weld County Road 26 between Weld County Road
13 and 15.
Our Board of Directors and staff are pleased to present this document to you for your
consideration and acceptance. We appreciate your time and effort and will be available
to answer questions and provide additional information. We look forward to hearing
from you regarding a date for the review before the Commissioners.
