RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Matt Halverson be appointed to said board, to
replace Steven Edstrom;that Lynette Hanzlicek be appointed to said board,to replace Glenn Ledall;
that Marge Mercurio be appointed to said board, to replace Donna MacDonald;that Patricia Kindvall
be appointed to said board, to replace Russ Groshans; that Terry Sandmeier be appointed to said
Board, to replace Brian Allmer; and that Karen Folchert and Allen DeBelly be reappointed to said
board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Matt Halverson, Lynette Hanzlicek,
Marge Mercurio, Patricia Kindvall, and Terry Sandmeier to said board, and to reappoint Karen
Folchert and Allen DeBelly, all with terms to expire September 30, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Matt Halverson, Lynette Hanzlicek, Marge Mercurio, Patricia Kindvall, and
Terry Sandmeier be, and hereby are appointed to the Fair Board, and that Karen Folchert and Allen
DeBelly are reappointed to said board, all with terms to expire September 30, 2013.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 8th day of November, A.D., 2010.
