Home My WebLink About20100740.tiff 43 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO THOMAS LEEPER AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a list of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof,which is for the value of the 2008 taxes, and WHEREAS, the subject property consists of a various properties located throughout Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on March 31, 2010, Thomas Leeper paid to the Treasurer the sum of One Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Five and 14/100 Dollars, ($1,135.14), which represents the value of the 2008 base tax, plus the following amounts: delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through November 2, 2009; an advertising fee of Ten and no/100 Dollars($10.00);an internet fee of Eleven and no/100 Dollars($11.00); a rebilling fee of Five and no/100 Dollars ($5.00); redemption interest from November 2, 2009 through March 31, 2010; an assignment fee of Four and no/100 Dollars ($4.00), (which fee is reflected on the Exhibit cover sheet for each investor, but is not reflected on the individual Tax Lien Sale Certificates of Purchase); and WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective March 31, 2010. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit A for assignment to Thomas Leeper.
