RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO JANET STREED AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a list of which
is attached hereto as Exhibit"A," and made a part hereof, which is for the value of the 2008 taxes,
and
WHEREAS, the subject property consists of various properties located throughout Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on May 13, 2010, Janet K. Streed paid to the Treasurer the sum of Three
Thousand, Two Hundred Ninety-Five and 95/100 Dollars, ($3,295.95),which represents the value of
the 2008 base tax, plus the following amounts: delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through
November 2, 2009; an advertising fee of Ten and no/100 Dollars($10.00); an internet fee of Eleven
and no/100 Dollars ($11.00); a rebilling fee of Five and no/100 Dollars ($5.00); redemption interest
from November 2, 2009, through March 31, 2010; an assignment fee of Four and no/100 Dollars
($4.00), (which fee is reflected on the Exhibit cover sheet for each investor, but is not reflected on
the individual Tax Lien Sale Certificates of Purchase); and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this
manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective May 19, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien
Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit"A" for assignment to Janet K. Streed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair is hereby authorized to sign said
assignments, if necessary, and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said
assignments.
