HomeMy WebLinkAbout20113035 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE REQUEST FOR AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OF LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT -TOWN OF HUDSON WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Request to Automatically Renew the Law Enforcement Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, and the Town of Hudson, commencing January 1, 2012, and ending December 31, 2012, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said letter of request, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the request to automatically renew said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Request to Automatically Renew the Law Enforcement Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, and the Town of Hudson be, and hereby is, approved. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of November, A.D., 2011. For 2012 the Town of Hudson has indicated their desire to continue with the current agreement and has allocated $ 132,600.00 as the maximum amount to be billed for direct and indirect services. The Sheriffs Office recommends continuing with this agreement.
