Home My WebLink About20110728 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO REBECCA SHIVELY AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of a certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, which is for the value of the taxes owed, and WHEREAS, on March 4, 2011, Kevin Shively paid cash on behalf of Rebecca Shively to the Treasurer the total sum of Three Hundred Sixty-Two and 17/100 Dollars($362.17)for the purchase of Tax Lien Sale Certificates Nos. 2010-10486, 2010-10489, and 2010-10488,for the property listed and described on Exhibit A, which amount represents the value of the taxes owed, plus delinquent interest; advertising fees; internet fees; rebilling fees; redemption interest; and assignment fees as of March 4, 2011, and WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this manner, pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective March 4, 2011. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit A for assignment to Rebecca Shively. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said assignments and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said assignments. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of March, A.D., 2011.
