Re: Hudson Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail, M650-001, 17597
Dear Commissioner Kirkmeyer,
This is to advise you that the Town of Hudson has decided to terminate the above-
referenced highway enhancement grant project. We will not be considering the requested new
grant contract. It no longer makes sense for us to continue to pursue this Highway 52 sidewalk
project. It has proven to be much more difficult, costly and time-consuming than we originally
anticipated. It's best that the grant funds be made available for some other worthwhile purpose.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration and that of the other members of the
UFRTPR in offering Hudson this grant assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience or
hardship that this change of plans may cause the group.
