RE: APPOINTMENT OF CHRISTIE PETERS AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,due to the transfer of Jennifer VanEgdom to a new Administrative position within
the Commissioner's Office with continuing status as a Deputy Clerk to the Board, a need exists to
appoint another Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the desire
of the Board to appoint Christie Peters as Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Christie Peters be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective February 16, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of February, A.D., 2011.
