RESOLUTION
WHEREAS , the County Council of Weld County, Colorado ,
and John T. Martin, Nancy Clark, Floyd Oliver, Bob E. White,
and Lacey Wilkinson, individually , have been named as defendants
in a lawsuit , Civil- Action No, 28085 , and;
WHEREAS , the above-named parties desire legal representation
to insure protection of the interest of the County Council of
Weld County and;
WHEREAS, there is no County Attorney appointed as of this
date to represent the County, County Officers, County employees ,
and appointed boards and commissions in legal proceedings and
WHEREAS , Section 5-3 of the Home Rule Charter provides that
the District Attorney may represent county boards and officers
under such circumstances.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED , that Robert N. Miller, District
Attorney for the Nineteenth Judicial District , State of Colorado,
is hereby requested to represent the County Council of Weld
County, Colorado , and its members in Civil Action No.C8085 .
