RE: APPROVAL TO PURCHASE A USED GARWOOD CRANE FROM FEDERAL
SURPLUS (FT. CARSON) FOR USE BY THE WELD COUNTY ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to pur-
chase a used Garwood Crane from federal surplus in Ft. Carson
for use by the Weld County Engineering Department, and
WHEREAS, due to the fact that said Garwood Crane is a
piece of used equipment, it is not necessary to go out for
bids or quotes, and
WHEREAS, the total purchase price of said Garwood Crane
is $600 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County, Colorado to
purchase said piece of equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the purchase of a used
Garwood Crane from federal surplus in Ft. Carson for use by the
Weld County Engineering Department at a total purchase price of
$600 .00 be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
May, A.D. , 1979 .
