This patient is an 85-year-old gentleman with a history of coronary artery disease and mitral valve disease with
previous heart surgery. He has severe chronic lung disease.
Chronic exposure to dust from his roadway is severely detrimental to his recovery post-surgery and also severely
detrimental to long-term care for his lung disease.
Any mitigation of the dust in their roadway would result in a marked improvement in his clinical status.
