RE: EXTENSION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - JOHN GUNSON.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 27,
1976, in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, for the purpose of hearing the petition
of John Gunson, Route No. 2, Box 161A, Brighton, Colorado 80601
for a twelve (12) month extension on the conditions imposed
in paragraph 3 of a resolution passed by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on August 20, 1975,
wherein a Conditional Use Permit for the erection of a single
family dwelling was granted on the following described property,
to-wit:
All of the West Half of the West Half of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 1
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado, more particularly described
as follows :
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said
Northeast Quarter; thence along the North-
South centerline of said Section South
0°39 ' 17" East 2638 . 09 feet to the center of
said Section; thence along the East-West centerline
of said Section South 89°17 ' 39" East 661 . 13 feet
to the Southeast corner of said West Half ; thence
along the East line of said West Half North
0°36 ' 23" West 2637 . 85 feet to the Northeast corner
of said West Half; thence along the North line
of said Northeast Quarter North 89°17 ' 33" West
660 . 91 feet, more or less, to the point of
BEGINNING;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have heard all
of the testimony and statements of those present, and has studied
the request of the petitioner, and having been fully informed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the application of John Gunson, Route 2,
Box 161A, Brighton, Colorado, for a twelve (12) month extension
on the conditions imposed by paragraph 3 of the resolution passed
by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
on the 20th day of August, 1975, be and hereby is , granted.

SUBJECT: Single Family Residence
APPEARANCE: Mr. & Mrs. John Gunson
DISCUSSION: Ken McWilliams explained that the Gunson's had a CUP approved
by Board of County Commissioners on August 13, 1975 with stipulation
that granted for a period of twelve months from that date. They are
asking for a continuation of the one year period. Mr. Gunson explained
that they ran into some personal and financial problems and feel it is
best that they sell the land. He does not want to sell this land to
anyone without permit to build. The staff could see no problems with
this request. Mr. Fortner read the recommendations that the Planning
Commission had made to the Board of County Commissioners when the case
was first approved.
RESOLUTION: Be it therefore resolved to recommend to the Board of County
Commissioners approval for a 12 month extenstion for this CUP. Motion
Mr. Nix. Seconded Ms. Yost. A vote of "aye" Mr. Nix, Ms. Yost, Mr.
Heitman. A vote of "no" from Mr. Ashley, Mr. Hiatt. MOTION CARRIED.
