subject: Conservation Trust Fund Expenditures
We now have the final proposal from the City of Ft. Lupton for a project to be
assisted by Conservation Trust Funds. The project is identified as the Riverside
Park in Ft. Lupton, for the construction of fences and backstops. Would you
please draft a resolution around the following terms:
1 . The City-of Ft. Lupton has acquired three bids to accomplish the
work as follows: American Colorado Fence Company $15,116, Elcar
Fence $16,070, Foster Lumber Company $8,406.
2. The City of Ft. Lupton has accepted the bid of $8,406 from Foster
Lumber Company to complete the work.
3. Weld County had offered $7,840 to the City of Ft. Lupton for this
work, with some flexibility to that commitment depending on the
actual bid prices.
4. With all the same terms as on the Platteville resolution, regarding
completion and acceptance of the work, etc. , Weld County would ex-
tend to the City of Ft. Lupton $8,406, with no contingency amount,
to be paid during 1978 and upon completion of the project in Ft.
Lupton.
