RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF SANDRA BRIGHT TO CHILD PROTECTION CITIZEN
REVIEW PANEL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Child Protection Citizen Review Panel,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sandra Bright be appointed to said board as
the alternative member representative, to replace John Cordova, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sandra Bright to said board, with a
term to expire March 4, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Sandra Bright be, and hereby is, appointed to the Child Protection
Citizen Review Panel, with a term to expire March 4, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of July, A.D., 2011.
