After reviewing the application, the following is the recommendation made by this Department: 1) Temporary hand washing stations should be located outside the portable toilets. We recommend that there be one hand washing station for every two portable toilets (provided the toilets are in close proximity to one another). If the portable toilets are spread throughout the facility we recommend one hand washing facility per toilet. 2) The application listed 1 portable bathroom for each men and women. Based on the maximum number of people and times of the event, there should be at least 8 portable toilets available for patrons (6 additional are needed). There is a security agreement in place; however, it lists a general number of security guards that will be at the event (1-25). Need an exact number of security personal that will be on site. 2. Keenesburg Fire Department is planned to provide for medical facilities, however there is no contract provided to show EMT's will be on site. 3. Traffic Control Plan needs to be established with personnel directing traffic. 4. Landing Zone for Airlife needs to be shown on the map. 5. Water needs to be available for livestock. 6. Evidence on On-Call Veterinarian or a veterinarian on site during the events. 7. Copy of the contract from Porta-Potties-CO., to include 2 porta-potties for women and 3 porta-potties for men, due to the number of persons expected. 8. List of events needs to be provided to the Board of Commissioners. 9. A"No Alcoholic Beverages permitted on premises" sign needs to be posted. The Code also state there needs to be an ambulance available during the entire event. I talked to Chief Beach with Southeast Weld Fire and advised him of this. I believe my understanding was the Weld County Paramedics needed to be involved because of the requirement of the ambulance. Chief Beach confirmed that his District does have an ambulance. Please contact Chief Beach to make the appropriate arrangements for the EMT's, A letter from the Chief indicating their Districts availability to provide medical assistance will be acceptable documentation. I apologies if this caused any inconvenience for you. Please let me know if you need anything else.
