RE: CDBG #07-013 —Weld County Brighton Life Skills Center Building Acquisition
Dear Commissioner Kirkmeyer:
We have reviewed the Project Completion Report (PCR) for the county's Community
Development Block Grant project involving the acquisition of the Platte Valley Hospital to be
used as the Brighton Life Skills Center. The report has been found to be complete and has been
accepted.
Since there was no program income on hand on the date your project was completed, we have
conditionally closed out this project as of June 30, 2008, the date your contract expired. I want
to remind you that your project files should be kept for a period of five years from the date of
close-out. Should there be any findings as a result of your 2008 audit, your files should be kept
beyond the five years if needed, until all findings are resolved.
We have enjoyed working with you and your staff on this project and hope that we can continue
to assist you in addressing your community development needs.
