RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sandy Magnuson be appointed to said
board, to replace MaryEtta Moore, and that Ken Norem be appointed, to replace Linda Kautz,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sandy Magnuson to said board,
with a term to expire January 31, 2013, and to appoint Ken Norem, with a term to expire
January 31, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Sandy Magnuson and Ken Norem be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, with terms to expire January 31, 2013, and
January 31, 2014, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of September, A.D., 2011.
