RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has , by majority
vote , agreed that the salaries of the Weld County Com-
missioners should be increased and equalized .
WHEREAS , Section 13-8 (1) of the Weld County Home
Rule Charter states that the Weld County Council shall
set the salaries of all elected officials and further-
more, in the case of County Commissioners, the Charter
provides for a delay in the effective date of said
salary increases so as to provide for equal compensation
for all commissioners at all times and;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , that all Weld County
Commissioners shall be paid $15 ,000 per year commencing
January 11, 1977 .
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that commencing the second
Tuesday of January, 1979 , all Weld County Commissioners
shall be paid $17 ,500 per year.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on Motion
duly made and seconded , adopted by the following vote on
the / 7 day of Jjioci , A.D. , 1976 .
