Aggregate Industries (Al) has been awarded the ready-mix supply contract for Colorado
Department of Transportation (CDOT) Federal Aid Project No. 1M 392-A012. The project is for
I iighwav 392 and 1-25 Intersection reconstruction including bridge deck and paving as noted
below, \\hich requires mandatory night work in order to maintain the least disruption to traffic
flow. In order to accommodate the terms of this public works project. AI needs to exercise a
temporary variance from the Riverview Resource USR permit limitation of daylight hours of
operation to allow night operation of the ready-mix plant. truck loading and hauling of material
to the project site. The following provides summary information related to this project:
CDOT Project: IM 392-AO 12
General Contractor: Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc.
Project Location: Ilighway 392 and 1-25
Project Description: Intersection reconstruction including bridge deck and paving.
Project Dates (apx.): October 2011 through June 2012
Estimated Yards: Approximately 1.500 cubic yards
Night Truck I Paul: Approximately 30 round-trip truck trips/night.
Night Operations: It is estimated that the ready-mix plant will run at night for 6 or more
hours, on 5 +/- nights intermittently throughout the project commencing
October 20, 201 1.

between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.. with possible weekend operations if required by CDOT.
Approximately 300 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete per night will be processed. The ready-
mix concrete will he loaded out and hauled to the project site. requiring approximately 30 round-
trip truck hauls per night. Operation of the ready-mix plant will include use of a loader to teed
the plant.
Enclosed for your reference is a copy of the Edward Kraemer & Sons purchase order issued to
Aggregate Industries for this project. The purchase order references the CDOT project number
and location for your reference and supporting verification of Aggregate Industries' supply
contract for the project.
