I suspect that this is one of those situations where Weld County's interest lies in an adjacent parcel and is included in the Division Order because the interest is within 160 acres of the drilling site. As usual, however,the County needs to be able to tie the Division Order to our known interest before the Board can sign. The only thing they were able to find was that in the 1920s,Weld County acquired a strip of land approximately 16-18 feet wide.That property was subsequently acquired by Colorado Department of Transportation, and it now is a part of I-25.
