RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO WELD COUNTY FEDERAL MINERAL
LEASE DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by and through Resolution Number 2011-2263, dated August 17, 2011,
nunc-pro-tunc, June 29, 2011, the Board established the Weld County Federal Mineral Lease
Act District (the "District"), which includes a Board of Directors (designated the "Weld County
FML District Board of Directors") that must be appointed by the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Weld County Commissioner
David E. Long to the Weld County FML District Board of Directors, with a term to expire
December 31, 2012; to appoint Bruce White and Travis DePorter to said Board of Directors, and
to appoint Brian Allmer as an Alternate member, all with terms of two (2) years to expire
June 29, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Weld County Commissioner David E. Long be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Weld County FML District Board of Directors with a term to expire
December 31, 2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Bruce White and Travis DePorter be,
and hereby are, appointed to the Weld County FML District Board of Directors; and that Brian
Allmer, be and hereby is, appointed to said Board as an Alternate member, all with terms of
two (2) years to expire June 29, 2013.

make it commensurate with the statutorily required review?
