RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING RECORDED EXEMPTION #4443 - SHAW
FAMILY, LLLP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request for Recorded
Exemption #4443, from Shaw Family, LLLP, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 17th day of January, 2011, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to July 13, 2011, and then
from July 13, 2011, to January 16, 2012, in order to allow adequate time for Lafarge West, Inc.,
to proceed with its reclamation process on the property, including the completion of a Letter of
Map Revision (LOMR) study, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to direct staff to facilitate the early release of
the necessary building permits for the non-residential structure on the property, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
January 16, 2012, at 9:00 a.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that staff shall facilitate the early release of
the necessary building permits for the non-residential structure on the property.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of July, A.D., 2011.
