RE: APPRECIATION OF SERVICES RENDERED BY ERNIE ROSS AS A
MEMBER OF THE HIGH PLAINS LIBRARY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, did appoint Ernie Ross as a member of the High Plains
Library Board, and
WHEREAS, Ernie Ross has served continously on this Board
with distinction and by his wise counsel has contributed greatly
in service to the County as a member of said Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby express
its appreciation to Ernie Ross for his faithful service rendered,
having been most beneficial to the County of Weld.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
January, A.D. , 1978 .

I would like to submit my resignation as a member of the
High Plains Library Board, effective as of January 9 , 1978 .
I represented the Weld County Library during the past year
and would like to recommend a present member of the board,
Mrs. Mary M. Carlson, as my replacement.

the High Plains Library System.
