RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution dated
July 7, 1993,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,together with the Chief
Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Magistrate Mark Gonzales, Division C, be appointed as an additional
member; that County Commissioner David Long be appointed, to replace County Commissioner
Sean Conway; that Elizabeth Kenny be appointed, to replace Edward Streker, as the Public
Defender's representative; that Todd Sandstedt, Northern Colorado FBI Office representative, be
appointed as an additional member; and that Rebecca Wyperd be appointed, to replace Dave
Rastatter, as the North Range Behavioral Health representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the following individuals be, and hereby are, recommended to the Chief
Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial District for appointment to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee: Magistrate Mark Gonzales, Division C, as an additional member; County Commissioner
David Long to replace County Commissioner Sean Conway; Elizabeth Kenny to replace Edward
Streker as the Public Defender's representative; Todd Sandstedt, Northern Colorado FBI Office
representative, as an additional member; and Rebecca Wyperd to replace Dave Rastatter as the
North Range Behavioral Health representative.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of September, A.D., 2011.

Pursuant to § 19-2-211, C.R.S. and upon the recommendation of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning Committee for
the Nineteenth Judicial District:
Magistrate Mark Gonzales is appointed as an additional member; David Long is
appointed as the County Commissioner Representative to replace Sean Conway; Elizabeth
Kenny is appointed as the Public Defender's Representative to replace Edward Streker; Todd
Sandstedt a Northern Colorado FBI Office Representative, is appointed as an additional member.
Rebecca Wyperd is appointed as the North Range Behavioral Health Representative to replace
Dave Rastatter.
