Isel Brooks to erect a foundation with a partial full basement to receive a modular home 27 'wide x 48 ' long with an F . B . Number . At that time , Mr . Brooks was assured that a modular home with an F . B . Number would be acceptable on his property . On the basis of this information , he removed the existing farm house as he wanted to put the new home at this location . We were to obtain the F . B . Number . Upon inspecting the job on 10-16-75 , our inspector was told that the home was a mobile home . Our inspector stopped work on the job until we received a state serial number . We received the serial number this morning and it is an M .H . Number designating the home as a mobile home instead of an F . B . Number designating a factory built home in accordance to the UBC Code . The Zoning Department informs us that they cannot approve a permit for a mobile home on the site because there is no other "main house" on the property . The site is approximately 200 acres . As the home is already purchased , the site cleared and work started on the foundation , can an exception be made so the foundation walls can be finished and the home placed before winter sets in? At the time of purchase , according to Mr . Brooks , he told the company he would require an F . B . Number . They did not advise him that the modular unit was classed as a mobile home with a M .H .
