RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Elijah Hatch be appointed to said board to
replace Marcus Embry; that Bill Rains be appointed to replace LeAnn Reid; that Judy Stevens
be appointed to replace Justin Sidwell; that Joe Rains be appointed to replace Allen DeBelly;
and that Dale McCall, Donald Johnston, and Thomas Bledsoe be reappointed, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Elijah Hatch, Bill Rains, and Judy
Stevens to said board, with terms to expire September 30, 2014; to appoint Joe Rains to said
Board, with a term to expire September 30, 2013; and that Dale McCall, Donald Johnston, and
Thomas Bledsoe be reappointed, with terms to expire September 30, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Elijah Hatch, Bill Rains, and Judy Stevens be, and hereby are
appointed to the Fair Board with terms to expire September 30, 2014; that Joe Rains be, and
hereby is, appointed to said Board with a term to expire September 30, 2013; and that Dale
McCall, Donald Johnston, and Thomas Bledsoe are reappointed, with terms to expire
September 30, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of November, A.D., 2011.
