For record keeping purposes, the DOC neglected previously to inform and/or send Option Letter#9 decreasing funds to close out SFY 2010-2011; it is also now enclosed. Through the Weld County Community Corrections Board, Weld County sub-contracts with local agencies BI, Inc. and Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systems, LLC. Pursuant to Option Letter#10, the contract value will increase slightly to $106,000 for State Fiscal Year 2011-2012. Please note, Weld County retains 2% of these total funds (if fully expended) for administrative support assistance provided by Justice Services. The contract allows the DOC to make changes during the term of the contract and they do not require acknowledgement or approval by the Board of County Commissioners. This is an Option Letter from the Department of Corrections outlining continued funding within the parameters of our already existing contract with them. As such, they do not seek signature from our BOCC. We received this Option Letter literally about an hour ago, so if you need the original that will take a few more days (the DOC has been REALLY slow this year) . As always thanks for your assistance and I hope the move is going smoothly. Doug Erler Director WeLd County Justice Services Division 1008 9th Street P.O.
