was excused by the Chairman.

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 21 , 1979 ,
duly published February 22 , 1979 , March 1, 1979 and March 8 , 1979,
in the Johnstown Breeze, a public hearing was held on the request
of Northmoor Acres Homeowners Association for the establishment of
a water district known as Northmoor Acres Metropolitan District .
This request had been recommended unfavorably to the Board of
County Commissioners by the Weld County Planning Commission.
Mr. Kim Lawrence, legal counsel representing the Northmoor Acres
Homeowners Association, reviewed the request, purpose, and
necessity for said system. Mr. Lawrence asked for a postponement
or continuation of said hearing until May 30 , 1979 for the purpose
of answering the questions that concerned the Planning Commission.
He indicated he will direct their engineer to get actual figures on
actual delivery of the water under the water rights that are owned
by said Association. Mr. Lawrence continued by stating, he is of the
opinion, that said engineering report, to satisfy the Planning
Commission, will be prepared by May 30, 1979 .
Roger Olson, landowner in Northmoor Acres, commented on the postponement
request and stated that he could present statements from the ditch
companies involved regarding the water rights today.
The Chairman called a recess in order to allow the audience to determine
if they wish to testify today or on May 30 , 1979, if said postponement
is granted.
Upon convening, Chairman Carlson announced that the audience is
willing to hold their testimony until May 30, 1979, at 2 : 00 P . M.
Commissioner Ibe made a motion to continue this hearing until May 30,
1979 , at 2 : 00 P. M. Commissioner Dunbar seconded the motion and it
carried unanimously.
