RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETING
SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 8, 2011
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a quorum of the Board of County Commissioners will not be present at the
meeting of August 8, 2011, due to the relocation of the Weld County Administration Offices;
therefore, the Board deems it advisable to cancel said meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Board meeting of August 8, 2011, be, and hereby is, canceled.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of July, A.D., 2011.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Meeting Cancellation
As you are all aware, Friday, August 5, 2011, will be the start of the move for County
Administrative Offices to the new building. The Clerk to the Board's office will also be
processing two regular meetings and finalizing all of the paperwork generated by the BOE
process that week, concurrent with packing up the office. It is my understanding that the
moving process will continue through Monday, August 8, 2011, with staff to be stationed in a
temporary office on Monday, and resume regular office operations on Tuesday.
I have been informed the Board will not be conducting any Work Sessions on August 8th, and I
would like to request the cancellation of the August 8th Board Meeting, recognizing staff
will be in significant transition.
