Home My WebLink About20110856.tiff RESOLUTION RE : ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE COVERING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO - S1 /2 , S8 , T8N , R59W WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County , Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County , Colorado , and WHEREAS , Weld County is the owner of vast mineral lands located in Weld County , Colorado , and WHEREAS , Noble Energy , 1625 Broadway , Suite 2200 , Denver, Colorado 80202 , submitted a request to extend the lease of 320 . 0 net mineral acres , more or less , described to -wit : S1 /2 , Section 8 , Township 8 North , Range 59 West of the 6th P . M . , Weld County , Colorado , and WHEREAS , Weld County reviewed the request submitted by Noble Energy , to extend the lease on the above-described mineral acreage for $ 37 . 33 per net mineral acre , for a total sum of $ 11 , 946 . 67 , together with a rental fee of one dollar ($ 1 . 00) per net mineral acre , which is to run for a period of six (6 ) months , commencing at twelve o ' clock noon on October 27 , 2011 , and ending at twelve o ' clock noon on April 27 , 2012 , and the Board determined it would like to continue the matter to April 25 , 2011 , at 9 : 00 a . m . , in order to allow adequate time for the Board to conduct a work session on the matter.
