Captain Juan Cruz'term is over and Jack would be replacing him. I have attached a copy of the signed Resolution. Chief Garner was questioning which Commissioner should receive this Resolution and how he/she would like to get it. WHEREAS, the Weld County E-911 Authority Board is a legal entity responsible for the administration of the E-911 emergency telephone service program, and• by intergovernmental agreement, one of the seven board members is appointed by the Greeley City Council; and WHEREAS, Captain Juan Cruz has been the City's representative on the Board for the past two years and his term expires at the end of 2011; and WHEREAS, Police Chief Jerry Gamer recommends that City Council appoint Captain Jack Statler to a two-year term on the Weld County E-911 Authority Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREELEY,COLORADO: Section 1. The City Council hereby appoints Captain Jack Statler to represent the City of Greeley on the Weld County E-911 Authority Board for a two-year term. Section 2.
