Home My WebLink About790455.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION AGAINST DAVE KNAUS FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY BUILDING CODE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Joe Jarvis, Director of Building Inspection, has informed the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County of a violation of the Weld County Building Code by Dave Knaus, and WHEREAS, the property on which said violation is occurring is described as the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Sec- tion 8, Township 5 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, despite repeated requests , said violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it necessary to bring legal action against Dave Knaus to correct said Building Code violation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Thomas O. David, Weld County Attorney, be, and hereby is, authorized to take appro- priate legal action against Dave Knaus for said Building Code violation.
