RE: ANNUAL MEETING AND 2012 BUDGET HEARING -SOUTHWESTERN WELD COUNTY
LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 14, 2011, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner Sean P. Conway, Pro-Tern - EXCUSED
Commissioner William F. Garcia
Commissioner David E. Long
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther E. Gesick
County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker
Director of Budget and Management Analysis, Donald D. Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 10, 2011, and duly published
November 16, 2011, in the Fort Lupton Press,the Annual Meeting of the Southwestern Weld County
Law Enforcement District Authority Board was conducted, and a public hearing was conducted to
consider the proposed 2012 Budget for the Southwestern Weld County Law Enforcement Authority
(LEA) District. Donald Warden, Director of Budget and Management Analysis, recommended
approval of the budget, in the amount of$1,429.00, supported by 7.0 mills in property tax.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Rademacher moved to approve the Resolution to Adopt the Budget,in the amount of
$1,429.00. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously.
Commissioner Long moved to approve the Resolution to Appropriate Sums of Money. The motion
was seconded by Commissioner Garcia, and it carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rademacher moved to approve the Resolution to Set the Mill Levy at 7.0 mills. The
motion was seconded by Commissioner Garcia, and it carried unanimously.
Commissioner Garcia moved to approve the Law Enforcement Agreement and authorize the Chair
to sign. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Rademacher, and it carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:36 a.m.
