Attention: Weld County Communications Board
The Weld County School District Re-3J is applying to become a primary member of
CCNC to be able to operate radios on the State DTR system. We have 45 mobile radios, 5
portables, and one consolette. We are requesting 4 Talkgroups. One Talkgroup will be for daily
operations, one for administration, one for mechanic's field operations, and finally one for the
supervisors. These talkgroups won't be requested from the Weld County Talkgroup pool
because they will be, if approved, coming from the CCNC pool of Talkgroups.
If signed by an approved Weld County Communications Board representative, this
document will serve as a letter of concurrence supporting the addition of 4 new talkgroups and
51 new subscriber radios by the Weld County School District Re-3J. If, after an assessment of
loading, the Weld County Communications Board determines there is a detrimental impact to
system performance, they may reserve the right to request that the Weld County School District
Re-3J purchase equipment to mitigate said performance issues. Please note that currently there
is Weld County VHF paging infrastructure, and potentially DTR infrastructure that is housed on
a Re-3J owned tower near Keenesburg, free of charge to the county. We thank you very much
for your consideration of this request.
Sincerely,
ocu O6,-Ma --
