RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER BARBARA KIRKMEYER TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer has been assigned to Coordinate the
Department of Finance and Administration, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Kirkmeyer be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
Coroner/Medical Examiner Oversight Committee
Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (regular member)
Regional Communications Advisory Board
911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board
Local Emergency Planning Committee
Public Safety Oversight Committee
Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Kirkmeyer to said
boards, with her term on each board to expire December 31, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer be, and hereby is,appointed to the above
listed boards, with her term on each board to expire December 31, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2011.
