RE: APPROVE DESIGNATION OF PARTICULAR PUBLIC PLACE FOR POSTING OF PUBLIC
NOTICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24-6-402(c), C.R.S., the Board of County Commissioners
shall designate a particular public place for officially posting notices of public meetings, and
WHEREAS, on January 3, 2011, by Resolution #2011-0008, the Board designated the
bulletin board in the Centennial Center third floor hallway, outside the Clerk to the Board's Office,
Room 317, as the public place for posting notices of public meetings, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to designate the bulletin board in the
entry hallway, in the new Weld County Administration Building, 1150 "O" Street, Greeley, CO
80631, as the public place for posting notices of public meetings, effective August 8, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the bulletin board mentioned above be, and hereby is, declared to be the
designated public place to be used for posting all official notices of public meetings, effective
August 8, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of August, A.D., 2011.
