Conway, Pro-Tern Commissioner William F. Garcia Commissioner David E. Long - EXCUSED Commissioner Douglas Rademacher Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick County Attorney, Bruce Barker Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle Health Department representative, Lauren Light Public Works representative, Don Carroll The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 17, 2011, and duly published June 22, 2011, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Leroy and Peggy Bellmore, dba North Weld Gravel, RLLP, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Use by Special Review Permit #298 for a Mineral Resource Development Facility, including Open Pit Mining and Materials Processing (sand, gravel and stone), in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant has submitted a letter, dated July 8, 2011, to withdraw the application. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Rademacher moved to accept the request of Leroy and Peggy Bellmore, dba North Weld Gravel, RLLP, to withdraw the application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Use by Special Review Permit #298 for a Mineral Resource Development Facility, including Open Pit Mining and Materials Processing (sand, gravel and stone), in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Garcia, and it carried unanimously.
