The Town of Grover, has two projects they would like to pre-
sent to you, to upgrade their recreational facilities .
Project #1 : Baseball and Softball Diamond.
The Town of Grover does not have a suitable ball diamond.
As it is now, our school ball teams have to travel for most
of their games . Our summer program which consists of Little
League, Jr. Legion and Softball for both boys and girls have
to play all of their games away from home, usually Pine Bluffs,
Wyoming which is 30 miles to the north of us . This ball diamond,
is something we feel the community needs , as it would be used
by a good many people in our community.
Project #2: Grass and fencing around our new park shelter.
As you know, Grover was fortunate enough to recieve a grant in
1978, which enabled us to build a picnic shelter in our park .
The Town would like to plant grass around this shelter, and also
put a fence around it .
As you can see from our diagram, we have a good start on a real
fine recreational areas for our town, community, and school , and
hopefully these projects will be eligible for grants from your
1978 and 1979 recreational upgrading program.
