The Town of Ault has indicated the town will make no comment on the request . 2 . The Boyd Lateral Company has indicated the ditch company has no objection to the proposal . DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS Danielson Brothers Hog Operation 1 . The hog farrowing and finishing operation on the hereon de- scribed parcel located in part of the Southwest Quarter (SWQ) of Section 15 , Township 7 North , Range 66 West of the 6th P .M . , Weld County , Colorado shall be limited to the facilities shown which are designed to handle approximately 100 sows and gilts , 7 boars , 500-700 baby pigs , and 800-1000 feeder pigs . 2 . The first phase of the operation shall consist of one hog farrowing house , outside sow gestation pens , outside finishing pens , grain bins , mix mill , etc . shown on the attached plat . The second phase shall be to construct a confinement building to take the place of the outside finish pens as shown on attached plat . The outside finish pens shall be capable of containing 2916 feeder pigs , which is about 1000 pigs more than the proposed number of hogs . 3 . The Special Use Permit area shall be maintained in such a manner as to prevent the growth of noxious weeds , fugitive dust and soil erosion . 4 . Water shall be supplied by North Weld Water District . 5 . There shall be no discharge into streams , other bodies , of water , or adjacent drainage systems . An application for a discharge permit shall be filed with the Water Quality Control Division of the Colorado Department of Health prior to any building permits being used . Proof of the granting of such a permit shall be forwarded to the Weld County Planning Commission within thirty days of issuance of the discharge permit . 6 . All buildings shall be set back a minimum of ten feet from the Special Use Permit area boundary . 7 . Access shall be limited to the one existing point as shown hereon . 8 . Building permits shall be secured prior to the construction of the structures to be located on the Special Use Permit area . 9 . Construction will begin within one year of approval : 10 . The sewage system for the hog operation shall consist of a pit and pump . All sewage disposal facilities installed on the site shall conform with all applicable Weld County and State Health Regulations . 11 . The Special Use Permit shall be limited to the plans submitted, and governed by the development standards stated above . As I understand this application is I'm, a pig operation in SW4 15-7-66. We have nothing in vicinity of 26-7-65. Have reviewed the proposed pig deal on SW 15-7-66 and as long as it is close to their improvements and to the east thereof or to the northeast, it will not bother our place at all. We dM object to expansion of the Danielson pig operation in SE 16-7-66 a year ago as all it would do would cause run-off of the pens into our lateral ditch, but such is not the case with the pig deal at their improvements in SW* 15-7-66. We do own a portion of that quarter and would not want the pig pens abutting up to the lake or inlet drain ditch to the lake. Your map would show whether the proposed pigpen is too close to the lake.
