RE: APPROVE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN BROKERS AND DEALERS FOR HANDLING
THE INVESTMENT TRANSACTIONS OF THE FUNDS OF WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24-75-601.1(2.3), C.R.S., the Weld County Treasurer
has requested authorization for the brokers and dealers who will be investing Weld County
funds, in accordance with the statutory requirements set forth in Section 24-75-601.1(1),
C.R.S., and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it in
the best interest of Weld County to update those resolutions and hereby designate the following
brokers and dealers for investment of the funds of Weld County:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that, pursuant to Section 24-75-601.1(2.3), C.R.S., the above and
foregoing listed brokers and dealers be, and hereby are, designated to handle the investment
transactions for the funds of Weld County, invested in accordance with the statutory
requirements set forth in Section 24-75-601.1(1), C.R.S., as instructed by the Weld County
Treasurer.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 24th day of October, A.D., 2011.
