Home My WebLink About770577.tiff RESOLUTION RE: RELEASE OF SURETY BOND ISSUED TO AMOCO PRODUCTION COMPANY, P.O. BOX 39200, DENVER, COLORADO 80239 IN RE : UNDERGROUND AND UTILITY PERMIT NUMBER 1288. WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has recommended the re- lease of a Thirty-Five Thousand Dollar ($35, 000 .00) surety bond, issued by Seaboard Surety Company, as surety, and Amoco Product- ion Company, as principal, which bond was issued on the 24th day of March, 1975 in connection with Underground and Utility Permit Number 1288, which was issued to Amoco Production Company on April 21, 1975. On August 22, 1975, the permitee, Amoco Production Com- pany requested an indefinite extension be granted so that some legal matters could be resolved prior to the installation of the gas line in question. Inasmuch as more than a year has lasped since the install- ation of the gas line and inspections by the Weld County Engineer indicate that all restoration is satisfactory, the Weld County Engineer has now recommended the release of the aforementioned surety bond. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby direct the County Clerk to release said bond now being held by the County of Weld in the sum of $35, 000. 00 for and on behalf of Amoco Production Company, P.O. Box 39200, Denver, Colorado 80239 in connection with Underground and Utility Permit Number 1288 . The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of January, A.D. , 1977. The extension was granted and since then the line has been completed and the necessary inspections have been made. The area has been returned to its original condition to the best of our ability. The work was done after obtaining Underground and Utility Permit No. 1238 issued on April 21, 1975. Since the work has been completed and the land restored, we are requesting that the $35,000 bond, which was required by Weld County before work began, be released.
