RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO MARVIN
ENTERPRISES, LLC, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a description
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, which is for the value of the taxes
owed, and
WHEREAS, on January 24, 2011, Marvin Enterprises, LLC, paid to the Treasurer the total
sum of Five Hundred Seven and 57/100 Dollars ($507.57) for the purchase of Tax Lien Sale
Certificate Nos. 2010-10557, 2010-10398, and 2010-10419 for the properties listed and described
on Exhibit A, which amount represents the value of the taxes owed, plus delinquent interest;
advertising fee(s); internet fee(s); rebilling fee(s); redemption interest; and an assignment fee as of
January 24, 2011, and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this
manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective January 24, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien
Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit A for assignment to Marvin Enterprises, LLC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignments and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said
assignments.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of January, A.D., 2011.
