CHARLES R. PETERSON
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve the dedication of perpetual rights-of-way
over the public roads, streets, highways, easements in behalf of the public,
as submitted by Charles R. Peterson, said tract of land located in the South
Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 5 North, Range 66 West
of the 6th P. M. , Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the South Quarter corner of said Section 16 and
considering the South line of the Southwest Quarter of Section
16 to bear North 00°00'00" West and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto;
Thence North 90°00'00" West along the South line of the Southwest
Quarter of said Section 16, a distance of 994.04 feet;
Thence North 00°41'40" West, 75.01 feet to the North Right-of-way
line of the proposed U. S. No. 34 By-Pass and the True Point of
beginning; Thence continuing North 00°41'40" West, 195.01 feet;
Thence North 90°00'00" West, 158.18 feet; Thence South 01°02'27"
East, 195.03 feet to the said North Right-of-way line of the
proposed U. S. No. 34 By-Pass; Thence South 90°00'00" East along
said Right-of-Way line, a distance of 156.99 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; Said parcel contains 0.706 acres.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the plat be approved for filing, and the
public roads, streets, highways and easements thereon shown are accepted,provided,
however, that the County of Weld will not undertake maintenance of streets, roads
and rights-of-ways until they have been constructed by the sole owner, according
to specifications and accepted by the County of Weld.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

its duly authorized officials, party of the first part, and THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of Weld County, Colorado, party of the second

WHEREAS, said party of the second part has made application
to the State Board of Land Commissioners, it having control of all
lands held by the State of Colorado for School purposes, for a right
of way over, through, upon and across the School land hereinafter
described to be occupied and used as a PUBLIC HIGHWAY by the residents
and citizens of said county and state and the general public; and
WHEREAS, the said Board of Land Commissioners has granted,

such right of way for the purposes aforesaid, upon the condition that
the party of the second part pay the stun of one dollar ( '31.00 ) there-

above described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in
consideration of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying ofit and
opening of said road, hereby agree to give the right of way through our lands as shown by the plat
