RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE EVANSTON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
GUIDELINES, SECTION D-2 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Gary Fortner, Director of Planning has recommended
to the Board that the Community Development Project Guidelines,
Section D-2 , be amended to allow the $7 , 500 . 00 ceiling to be
exceeded when deemed necessary by the Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, finds that it is in the best interests of Weld County
to authorize the amendment to the Community Development Guide-
lines, Section D-2, to include the statement:
"such grant ceiling of $7 ,500 . 00 is to be
utilized as a guideline and may be exceeded
in particular instances, at the discretion
of the Board of County Commissioners, when
circumstances relating to a particular project
warrant additional expenditures. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Evanston Community Development
Guidelines, Section D-2 , be and hereby is, amended to include the
above quoted statement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
March, A.D. , 1978 .
