SUBJECT: 2011 Cattle Guard Bid, B1100046
The Public Works Department recommends the low bidder, DBE Manufacturing, be awarded the bid
for complete cattle guards at a cost of$6,589.00 each or a total of$19,767.00 for three. We further
recommend they receive the bid for additional foundations at a cost of$336.00 each or a total of
$6,720 for twenty foundations, and for additional gate supports at a cost of$343.00 each or a total of
$2,058 for six. The grand total for three complete cattle guards, twenty additional foundations, and six
additional gate supports is $28,545.00.
There is $30,408.00 budgeted for this purchase.
