Attn: Lynn Shults 7321 East 88th Avenue Henderson, CO 80640 RE: Weld County AMUSR 1102 Dear Lynn: Thank you for meeting with the Town of Firestone to discuss the extension of the Firestone Trail through your property. We look forward to further working with you on a phased approach to ultimately accommodate a permanent location for the Firestone Trail across the LG Everist property. While we are in the process of working through the technical matters related to such a cooperative effort, we think it would be a good idea to include the Town's property at the north end of the proposed mine in your application with the State. This letter does not authorize the mining of gravel on the Town's property or provide an easement to do so as both of those authorizations, as well as any agreements, need to be provided by the Town Board of Trustees. However, having the property included in your State application would negate the need to do a full amendment if we are successful in working out an arrangement for mutual accommodation • of the Firestone Trail and LG Everist's operation. The Town of Firestone appreciates the cooperative nature that LG Everist, Inc. has responded in these matters and looks forward to collaboration in accomplishing the extension of the Firestone Trail.
