We are providing you with this advance notice of our deliberations in acknowledgment of the important relationship that we have with local governments. By providing you with this notice, we are not indicating that any action is imminent. We evaluate many parcels of state trust property every year and simply want to inform you and ask for your input. If you have any pertinent information that we may use concerning land values, land appreciation patterns, land planning influences on this property or immediately adjacent to it, as well as special considerations or needs that you would like us to consider, please bring such to my attention. The property that we are evaluating is being considered for exchange for other land in close proximity to the state trust land that is not in the Stewardship Trust. The state trust land is located in extreme southeastern Weld County, on the Weld/Morgan County line. It lies between Highway 34 and Interstate 76, about 5 miles west of the town of Wiggins, and is legally described as follows: Section 36-Township 4 North; Range 61 West, 6`11 P.M. Following our evaluation of this parcel, if it is our determination to dispose of the property, you will receive additional notification concerning our public process, including opportunities for public comment. In the meantime, if you care to provide any information, I encourage you to do so soon. You may reach me at telephone number(970)454-5279, by e-mail at matthew.pollart@state.co.us, or by U.S. mail at 360 Oak Avenue, Suite 110, Eaton, CO 80615. We appreciate your input and assistance.
