Subject: to Dry Creek Referral Agencies
Dear Referral Agencies to the Dry Creek RUA Application:
Your agency was sent a referral request form in September for the Dry Creek RUA, an application to amend the Weld
County Comprehensive Plan to support urban development for up to 6,600 future homes in a defined area in south
Weld County, roughly between County Roads 4 and 6, and 17 and 23.
Whether you responded or not,we want to advise you of a couple of items related to the case.
First, a Planning Commission hearing is scheduled for January 19 at 1:30 am at the Greeley Planning Offices. You are
encouraged and welcome to attend, either to speak, or simply to learn more.
Secondly, the applicant—Todd Creek Metro District—has submitted responses to referral agency comments, as well as
additional fiscal reports. These, along with the original application and referral agency comments, can be found under
the "2009-XX RUA" case at http://www.co.weld.co.us/redesign/Planning/PlanninRDepartment/index.html .
Third, Michelle Martin will be transitioning to become the lead planner in the case. I will be leaving the County after the
first of the year to take a position with the City of Greeley, although I will be involved with the Planning Commission
hearing.
Thank you for your interest and comments in this large land use proposal before the County. We welcome your input.
Happy Holidays!
Brad Mueller
