RESOLUTION
RE: ADOPTION OF POLICY REGARDING WELD COUNTY REVOLVING FUND.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it ad-
visable and in the best interest of Weld County to adopt the
following policy regarding disbursements from the Weld County
Revolving Fund:
1. Emergency expenditures which cannot reasonably be
paid in the normal course of business .
2. Travel and expense advances of significant amounts
(suggest a $100 minimum) . Only for travel reimbursable.
3. Clearing amounts received from other agencies, such as
the Council of Governments, which belong to entities
other than Weld County.
4. All disbursements for emergency expenditures should
be reimbursed to the Revolving Fund within two (2) weeks
of disbursement.
5. All disbursements for travel and expense advances
should be accounted for immediately upon the return of the
employee from the specific event or purpose giving rise
to the advance and the reimbursement of actual cost incur-
red made to the Revolving Fund from the appropriate source
within two (2) weeks . (An exception to this policy will
have to be made for expenses and witness fees required
by the District Attorney' s office where reimbursement
comes from the State Judiciary System subsequent to
court proceedings. However, three (3) months should be
sufficient time for processing payment. )
6. The Department Head or Official shall be the only
person allowed to request funds from the Revolving Fund.
His request should be in writing.
7 . The Revolving Fund should be maintained by an appro-
priate person in the Finance/Accounting Department,
reconciled monthly and a report of transactions and cam-

position of the fund balance submitted monthly to the
Finance Officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above and fore-
going policy regarding the Weld County Revolving Fund, be and
hereby is adopted effective on the date of the passage of this
Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
June, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 20thday of June, A.D. , 1977.
